SouEast V3 Goes EVO!

SouEast makes various Mitsubishi’s for the Chinese market and also makes vehicles under the SouEast-name, all based on Mitsubishi platforms. The V3 is a compact sedan based on the old Lancer.
Early July we saw a hortysporty version with some extra spoilers, and now this. An even hotter V3 with much more spoilers and a new Evo-style nose. We like a lot, but what about the boomboom?
Bad news, it will keep the standard Mitsubishi engine. That is 1.5 with 88kw and 143nm. That ain’t enough SouEast! They should look their Japanese partner deep in the eye, talk some crap about love and love forever, and ask for a bigger engine. 1.8 would be better, 2.0, 2.0 turbo, a 2.5 urbo.
Just not a 1.5, customers ain’t stupid anymore, nobody would buy this, except some apes in the Dongbei, maybe.
