Spy Shots: stretched Suzuki Wagon R pops up Again in China
Published on July 8, 2011 by Tycho de Feijter
All cars can be stretched in China. Think Audi A4L, Volkswagen Passat, Benz 300L, BMW5, Volvo S80L and others. But it doesn’t happen very often that one automaker stretches a really very small car. That though seems to be exactly what Changhe-Suzuki is doing with the Wagon R. It is stretched by some 10 centimeters behind the C-pillar, resulting is more space for the rear passengers. Now find a driver…
This is an earlier spy shot of the stretched R. Stretched area is redesigned, it all window now while the earlier car simply had a bigger C-pillar. Rear lights moved to the D-pillar. Engine will be the same 1.2 with 95hp and 107nm. Date for listing yet unknown.
