The new Guangzhou-Fiat joint venture is working on its first car which will be listed in August 2012. It is tentatively named ‘C-medium’. It will stand on the same platform as the Alfa Romeo Giulietta and Lancia Delta.

Size will be 4650/1790/1500, wheelbase 2703. Power will come from Fiat’s Fire T-Jet 1.4 turbo which comes in two different tunes: 120hp/210nm and 150hp/230nm. The C-Medium will compete with car such as the Volkswagen Golf and Buick Excelle. Price will start around 120.000 yuan.
