The facelifted Suzuki SX4 debuted at the Guangzhou Auto Show last month, it will be listed on the China car market on December 26. Price will start around 85.000 yuan and end around 135.000 yuan. Biggest changes are up front with a big new grille with a lotta chrome and new headlight.
Overall the SX4 now loox more like a cross-over-thingy and that is likely exactly what Suzuki intended since cross-over-thingies are very popular on the Chinese car market. There will be two engines: 1.6 with 80kw and 144nm and a 1.8 with 96kw and 170nm, mated to a 5-speed manual or 4-speed automatic. The SX4 is made in China by the Chang’an-Suzuki joint venture.
