Fiat is working on a new compact sedan for the Chinese market, it will be made in China by the new Guangzhou-Fiat joint venture. The sedan is code-named ‘C-medium’. Chinese media reports that the C-Medium will be based on the upcoming Dodge Dart sedan (pictured) which in turn is based on the Alfa Romeo Giulietta hatchback.
Leaked pic from a Guangzhou-Fiat presentation. The C-Medium is expected to arrive in late 2012 or early 2013, it will compete with car such as the Volkswagen Golf and Buick Excelle. Price will start around 120.000 yuan.
Size will be 4650/1790/1500, wheelbase 2703. Power will come from Fiat’s Fire T-Jet 1.4 turbo which comes in two different tunes: 120hp/210nm and 150hp/230nm. Recently however we also heard rumors of bigger engines; 2.0 and 2.4.

The dimensions suggest a bit bigger car than the Giulietta: Lancia Delta or Alfa Romeo 159.
Erik, i think you might be mistaken, the giulietta and the bravo have the same dimensions (no more than 10cm in each dimension), the 159 is discontinued and if i am not mistaken is based on a chassis engineered with GM that has already been discontinued.
the dodge should be based on the giulietta platform, which is modular and as you said it will be bigger than the alfa romeo.
