Published on December 27, 2011 by Tycho de Feyter

This must be the longest BMW X5 in the world, seen somewhere in China’s Zhejiang province. The SUV is extended by at least 5 meters to make a good X5 limousine. The owner even thought about the name, he found just ‘X5′ too small so he called it X55. Much better indeed.

Ni hao Readers,
CarNewsChina.com wishes you a very happy Christmas. May there be world peace and eternal happiness for all, and enough beer.
When you eat your fat birds please think for a moment about all those poor carmakers in China who will continue popping out new vehicles to conquer the world while you sit next to a greenish tree singing songs about peace and drinking cheap wine. Yez, the Chinese are coming…
We will not hide behind the Christmas tree but continue all the way to New Year’s Eve. See you on Thuesday Monday. Good night…

Published on December 24, 2011 by Tycho de Feyter

Seen a couple of days ago on my way to work. This is a brand-new Beijing Auto Weiwang 306 min-van in police livery. The Weiwang-brand was launched back in March and this was the first time I saw one in the wild. Weiwang is focused on minicars and minivans with small engines and a lotta space. In Chinese those sorta vans are called ‘mianbaoche’, or bread-car, because their shape is similar the a steamed bun.
