New Ford Focus to be listed in China in March, old Focus will continue

The new Ford Focus will finally be listed on the Chinese car market in March, the Focus is made in China by the Chang’an-ford joint venture. Is is strange it took so long, the new Focus is already available almost all over the planet, except in China, the biggest auto market in the world. The new China-made Focus will be powered by a locally made 1.6 or a imported 2.0. A 1.6 turbo for sporty people might follow later.
Meanwhile, the old Focus will continue as a budget alternative, it will likely be called ‘Focus Classic’. The Classic will be powered by a 1.5 which is also used in the China-made Fiesta. Price will start below 100.000 yuan, price of the all-new Focus will start around 120.000 yuan.
