We see: a German license-plate above the Chinese plate (???), a skull and cross-bones pirate flag on the pink bonnet, pinked-out wheels, an exhaust-pipe going up, a roof-rack and a enough fog lights to cross the Pacific in Autumn. The German plate seems real, maybe this car is owned by a German resident of Beijing.

The China-made Cherokee was available with the 2.4 four-cylinder and the 4.0 six-in-line. The Cherokee is actually still made in China, now by Beijing Auto alone, and called the Beijing Auto Works Qishi S12, yours for 78.800 yuan.

  1. Tycho didn’t do his homework again, it’s a snorkel attached to the fender, not an exhaust pipe….the xj is also slightly lifted, most probably by a 2″ suspension lift.
