The Fiat Viaggio has been launched on the Chinese auto market, price starts at 108.800 yuan and ends at 158.800 yuan (17.220 – 25.134 USD) The Viaggio is made in China by the Guangzhou-Fiat joint venture, it debuted in April on the Beijing Auto Show. Next up is a hatchback based on the Viaggio sedan.
Fiat has managed to keep the price very low, earlier on Chinese media expected a start around 120.000 yuan. The Viaggio indeed, is a lotta car for little money. There is only one engine available in the Viaggio; a 1.4 turbo T-Jet with either 120hp or 150hp, mated to a 5-speed manual or a DCT. Size: 4679/1850/1471, wheelbase is 2708. The Viaggio is based on the Dodge Dart which again is based on the Fiat C-EVO platform that also underpins the Alfa Romeo Giulietta.
