Spotted in China: second generation Toyota Coaster

A rare and very well preserved second generation Toyota Coaster, seen in the great city of Nanning in Guangxi Province. The sec-gen Coaster was made from 1984 until 1994. Local production of the Coaster in China started in 2000 by the FAW-Toyota joint venture. This fine blue-white example so must be an import and that was a special thing in those days when most buses were crappy China-made goat-based vehicles hammered together in a shed up mountain.
