Guangzhou Auto Show: JAC BII = JAC Heyue A30

This is the new JAC Heyue A30, it debuted today at the Guangzhou Auto Show in China. The Heyue A30, formerly known as the JAC BII, is a mid-size sedan that will be launched on the Chinese car market in the first half of 2013, price will range from 50.000 yuan to 70.000 yuan.
Not a bad design for JAC, but boring like hell again, but that is what car buyers in this segment demand. Power comes from a 1.5 liter engine with 113hp and 146nm, mated to a 5-speed manual or a CVT.
Dash very neat for the money, detailing around the gear lever still needs some work. Nice big screen in the center console. These 50.000-70.000 sedans are still in high demand under some 900 million customers in the vast hinterlands of China, in the big cities however they are a very rare sight.

Not a fan of that dash, which manages to look both messy and lacking in detailing at the same time. Materials also look poor.
Expect that the exterior would look a lot better in a darker colour, white is very inflattering for this design.
