Facelifted Chery Fulwin 2 debuts at the Guangzhou Auto Show
The facelifted Chery Fulwin 2, hatchback and sedan, debuted on the Guangzhou Auto Show in China, both vehicles will be launched on the Chinese auto market in December. The facelift did the Fulwin a lotta good, it suddenly seems much more ‘designed’. The facelift included a new grille, new bumpers, new head lamps, new rear lamps and an updated interior.
Price for the hatchback will range from 50.000 to 70.000 yuan. Only engine is a rather old 1.5 with 109hp and 140nm, mated to a five-speed manual, no automatic or CVT available.
The sedan, all the same car except for the extra ass. Price will range from 55.000 to 75.000 yuan. Engine and transmission are the same as well. A stylish no-nonsense car for very little money, this is Chery at its best, but an automatic gearbox would help sales a lot.
Dashboard, the same in hatch and sedan, is completely redesigned. Materials still not top but it all loox much better than in the outgoing Fulwin 2. Dials a bit sporty. Screen in the center console doesn’t seem to fit perfectly.
