Chevrolet Corvette is Yellow in China

A mellow yellow C6 Chevrolet Corvette Coupe, seen in the great city of Wenzhou in Zhejiang Province. The Corvette is a very rare car to find in China because GM doesn’t sell it on the Chinese car market. The gray market steps in and that is how some Vette’s arrive on Chinese shores. Price however is very high, ranging from 1.3 to 1.6 million yuan. That is 208.000 to 257.000 USD.

A lotta money, but where else can you get tail pipes like these? This yellow speedmachine is the base C6, which was powered by a 6.2 liter V8, good for 436hp and 594nm.  It is only the fourth Corvette we see in China, and the very first C6.
