New spy shots from the new China-made Toyota Vios, it will debut on the Shanghai Auto Show later this week and it will be launched on the Chinese car market soon thereafter. The Toyota Vios will be made in China by the FAW-Toyota joint venture.
The outgoing Toyota Vios, made by FAW-Toyota as well. Price starts at 89.500 yuan and ends at 123.900 yuan, power comes from a 86hp 1.3 or a 118hp 1.6.
The new Toyota Vios will keep the 1.3 but the 1.6 will be replaced by a new 1.5 with 110hp and 141hp, mated to a 5-speed manual or a 4-speed automatic. The 1.3 will only be available with a 5-speed manual. Size of the new Vios: 4410/1700/1475, wheelbase is 2550.
