A mysterious Jeep Wrangler, seen near the exhibition hall at the Shanghai Auto Show, which starts on Saturday. The Wrangler loox very fast with all-black paint, sporty alloys, a hard-top and a a giant air-vent in the bonnet. It might be some China-only sporty thing. Chinese car buyers just love China-special-editions and are willing to pay lots of money for the privilege.
Jeep sells the Wrangler 2-door and 4-door in China, and they are rather popular among the rich in the city who like to go to the mountains a bit, in the weekend. The Wrangler comes at a steep price, the cheapest 2-door variant with the 3.6 goes for 449.900 yuan or 72.800 USD. Any special edition will be considerable more expensive.
