This is the new Brilliance C3 concept, it debuted in brown on the Shanghai Auto Show. The Brilliance C3 concept is basically the facelifted and renamed Brilliance Junjie Cross, the production version will be launched on the Chinese car market in the second half of this year.
The current Junjie Cross. Price starts at 78.800 yuan and ends at 89.800 yuan. Power comes from a 1.5 with 105hp and 143nm, mated to a 5-speed manual or a 4-speed automatic. Engine and gearboxes will continue in the Brilliance C3 and price will be about the same.
Center console, center tunnel, dials and steering wheel are completely new, looking much more modern and expensive than before.
Altogether a much stronger design. The alu-colered parts are particularly sporty, let’s hope they survive until production starts.
An impressive and busy nose again with even more alu-bits. Cross-style vehicles are still very popular in China, each Chinese automaker sells at least one and the cross-variant sometimes outsells the base car where it is based on. The Junjie Cross was almost as popular as the base Junjie, the much better looking Brilliance C3 might be able to beat the base car into second place.
