Guangzhou Auto Trumpchi GA3 will hit the Chinese car market in July

The Guangzhou Auto Trumpchi GA3 will be launched on the Chinese car market in July, and that is one month later than expected. Price will range from 80.000 to 120.000 yuan. The Trumpchi GA3 debuted in April on the Shanghai Auto Show. A hatchback version will hatch in 2014.

The Trumpchi GA3 will be positioned just under the Trumpchi GA5. Base engine is a 1.6 with 120hp, mated to a 5-speed manual or a 4-speed automatic. A 1.3 turbo will be launched near the end of this year, likely at the Guangzhou Auto Show in late November. The 1.3 turbo will have more horsepower than the 1.6. Size: 4570/1790/1490, wheelbase is 1598. Curb weight: 1235kg.
