The very first Mitsuoka Orochi has been spotted in China, this fine white example was seen in the great city of Wenzhou in Zhejiang Province. Mitsuoka arrived in China in early 2012. The mad Japanese brand has dealers in Beijing, Shanghai and Guangzhou. So far we met two Himiko roadsters and one Galue sedan, but the fantastic Orochi is the pea on the pie.

The Mitsuoka Orochi is a mid-engined mad-sorta-super car that debuted on the 2003 Tokyo Auto Show. There are two engines available: a Toyota-sourced 3.3 liter V6 with 233hp and a 305hp 3.5 liter V6 turbo that is based on the Toyota unit. Both engines are mated 5-speed automatic. Price in China starts at 1.95 million yuan or 317.000 USD. Not cheap, but very special indeed…

  1. This is retarded..I, in fact, live in Wenzhou..this car has the engine of a 1996 Toyota Celica..this car cost $3000..this engine is also in a Toyota Highlander..cost?? Around $20,000…so you expect me to believe that this styling is worth between $297,000 and $314,000?!?!

Are you kidding me? This is just one example of ‘more money than brains.’…welcome to Wenzhou.
