… 12.6 million yuan or 2.05 million USD. Fast cars don’t go cheap in China! The 12C does 3.38 million or 552.000 USD and the 12C Spider 3.70 million or 604.000 USD. Lots of money but McLaren expects the to sell lots of cars; 60 (sixty) 12C & 12C Spider and 25 (twenty five) P1 before the end of 2014.

An ambitious target, especially since most super car buyers who wanted a 12C already bought one via the unofficial gray market, we have seen at least ten examples all over the country.

The next Chinese step for McLaren will likely be a ‘China-special-edition’ of the 12C (12China ?). Other supercar makers, such as Lamborghini and Ferrari, are selling all sorts of specials in the country for shiploads of extra money.
