Spy Shots: new Honda Odyssey is Ready for the China car market

Spy Shots of the new Honda Oyssey MPV, ready for its launch on the China car market in August. The new Honda Odyssey was launched on the Japanese market in November last year, but China still has to do with the old one. The Odyssey is one of the most popular MPV’s on the Chinese auto market so the new one has to be good, and it certainly looks the business with a giant grille with four heavily chromed bars.

The Japanese-market Honda Odyssey.

The current China-made Honda Odyssey, manufactured by the Guangzhou-Honda joint venture. Price starts at 229.800 yuan and ends at 286.800 yuan. Lone engine is a 2.4 liter four-cylinder petrol with 181hp, mated to a 5-speed automatic.

The engine will continue unchanged in the new Odyssey but the 5-speed automatic will be replaced by a new 7-speed CVT. Price will be about the same.

Unbelievable they went for this. The JDM RB1 and RB2 were the most attractive 7 seaters ever build, looked and drove like a normal car and looked even better with some other wheels. justy google JDM RB2 and look at the pics….Now this….just as ugly as the Buick and the Buick is way nicer on the inside….will drive like a van too
