Spotted in China: Mitsubishi 3000GT in green

A very green Mitsubishi 3000GT seen on da streets of the great city of Jiangmen in Guangdong Province. The Mitsubishi 3000GT, aka Mitsubishi GTO, was made from 1990 until 2001 and sadly never officially exported to China, but a small number arrived on Chinese shores via the gray market. Base engine was a 3.0 V6 with 220hp, which was later tuned up to 276hp for the GTO MR and to 321hp for the VR-4. The green car in Jiangmen seems to be standard 220. The 3000GT was also rebadged as Dodge Stealth which is even more rare in China, but we met one in Beijing.

Buick Excelle is white, matte black and a bit Bling in China

Here we have a completely mad Buick Excelle XT, seen in the great city of Laiwu in Shandong Province. It is white, matte black, and Bling, all at the same time. The theme extends to the alloys with one in white and one in matte black. Extra chrome is added around the windows. Wadda car. The Buick Excelle XT is basically an Opel Astra, made in China by the Shanghai-GM joint venture, not to be confused with the Daewoo-based Buick Excelle. Earlier on we met two other extreme XT’s: lowrider, and matte orange.

FAW-Xiali N7 will be launched on the China auto market in March

The new FAW-Xiali N7 cross-compact will be launched on the Chinese auto market in March. In December last year we heard the Xiali N7 would be launched this January but apparently there has been some delay. The Xiali N7 is the production version of the FAW R008 concept that debuted on the 2011 Shanghai Auto Show. The funky lines of the N7 are a bold move for FAW-Xiali where design is usually very conservative.  The interior is even better:

Spotted in China: Lamborghini Aventador DMC LP900-4 SV

Here we have one of the most extreme super cars money can buy, seen in the great city of Shenzhen in Guangdong Province. This is the mighty Lamborghini Aventador DMC LP900-4 SV. A long name but a lotta horses! Germen tuner DMC pumped up the mighty V12 to produce 900hp instead of the standard 700, which indeed is far too less.
