Shanghai Auto Show: Guangzhou Auto E-Trumpchi EV Concept

The Guangzhou Auto Trumpchi sedan debuted at the Guangzhou Auto Show in December 2010. Guangzhou Auto now brings a full electric R-Trumpchi to the Shanghai Auto Show. It got electric hub motors in all four wheels with a combined power of 166 kw and a huge 1650 nm of torque.
Shanghai Auto Show: FAW GO Concept

The FAW GO Concept previews a new small sporty sedan that could turn out to be the FAW-Besturn B30. Earlier spy shots showed a very different B30, rumors say FAW’s board asked for a complete redesign. However, the GO Concept does not carry the Besturn name, just the FAW name. First Auto Works, FAW, has three brands of their own: Hongqi (Red Flag), Besturn and simply FAW. It seems more likely that the GO is meant for a revival of the FAW-brand.
Shanghai Auto Show: Dongfeng-Nissan Qichen with an Ass

Qichen, Venucia in English, is a new brand from the Dongfeng-Nissan joint venture, aimed at the cheap end of the market. Qichen was the laugh of the 2010 Guangzhou Auto Show when the brand debuted half a concept car. They only got the front, the back wasn’t finished yet. Well, did they look stupid!
Shanghai Auto Show: new Dongfeng-Nissan Tiida

Another world premiere at the Shanghai Auto Show; the new Nissan Tiida. It will be made in China by the Dongfeng-Nissan joint venture. The new Tiida gets a very hot 1.6 turbocharged engine from the Nissan Juke with a healthy 190hp. It will be listed in China in May, price to start around 90.000 yuan.
Shanghai Auto Show: new SouEast-Mitsubishi Lancer EX

SouEast-Mitsubishi makes various Mitsubishi’s for the Chinese market and makes car under their own SouEast name, all based again on Mitsubishi platforms. The Lancer EX is the newest car from the joint venture. It was unveiled, listed and priced today at the Shanghai Auto Show.
Shanghai Auto Show: Lifan X60 SUV Unveiled

Lifan’s new X60 SUV production car debuted at the Shanghai Auto Show. The X60 debuted as a concept car on the 2010 Beijing Auto Show, it then popped up again at the 2010 Guangzhou Auto Show. All that time it didn’t have a name, Lifan just called it ‘Lifan SUV’. Engine: 1.8 with 98kw, a smaller 1.6 will follow later. Price starts at 80.000 yuan.
Shanghai Auto Show: Greatwall Haval H6 SUV

The Greatwall Haval M6 is a new compact SUV with a neat styling. It will be listed within a couple of months, priced between 92.800 and 158.800 yuan.
Shanghai Auto Show: Greatwall Tengyi C70

The Greatwall Tengyi C70 (English name: Voleex C70) is Greatwall biggest sedan so far, it is ready for production and will be listed later this year. Engines: 1.5 turbo and 2.0 mated to a 5-speed manual gearbox or a six-speed tiptronic.
Shanghai Auto Show: Greatwall IF Crossover Concept Unveiled

The best looking Chinese car so far, the Greatwall iF Crossover Concept, was officialy unveiled at the Shanghai Auto Show. Still a concept but it will see production, likely in 2013. The IF is powered by a good and true 3.0 V6 without any hybridiwidie, mated to a six-speed automatic gearbox. There will be a 2.0 as well.
Shanghai Auto Show: Chang’an Voss MPV Concept

If Chang’an Automotive thinks about the MPV of the Future they think about the Voss. Well, it for sure is striking with a lot of confusing lines, chrome, a two tone design and gull wing doors for easy access to 2025. The Voss is a plug-in hybrid with a 3.0 V5, the same drive line as the Chang’an Sense coupe concept.
