Spy Shot: Hyundai Verna hatchback

The new Hyundai Verna debuted at the Beijing Auto Show, it is made in China by Hyundai’s joint venture with Beijing Auto and will be listed on August 23. The hatch, seen in the factory in Beijing, will follow before the end of the year. It will get the same 1.3 and 1.6 engines as the sedan, prices will range from 70.000 to 100.000 yuan.

The new Hyundai Verna made its world debut at the Beijing Auto Show in April, it is made in China by Huyndai’s joint venture with Beijing Auto. The Verna will hit la market at August 23 priced between 80.000 and 110.000 yuan. Engines: a 1.4 with 78kw and 135nm and a 1.6 with 90kw and 155nm. Size: 4340x1700x1460, wheelbase is 2570. A Verna hatchback is on its way.
New Hyundai Sonata to Debut at the Guangzhou Auto Show

The Chinese-market Sonata is made in China by joint venture Beijing-Hyundai. South Korea and Europe got the new Sonata first, in December it is China time, the new car will debut at the Guangzhou Auto Show. Engines: 2.0 and 2.4. On the pic a new Sonata on transport near the factory in Beijing.

The new Hyundai Verna debuted at the Beijing Auto Show and will be made in China by Hyundai’s joint venture with Beijing Automotive. But they ain’t done yet; these spy shots show the new Verna hatchback. The car was seen testing somewhere near the Beijing-Hyundai factory in Beijing and will hit the market before the end of the year.

A very nice 1:43 model of a Beijing Beijing-Hyundai taxi, found it for 3 US dollar in the supermarkt in my street. The colors are fine, wheels as the real thing and scale well done. But the panel gaps are a bit on the wide side and Beijing Taxi’s don’t have blackened windows. Nevertheless, considering the price a nice addition to my collection.
