The Brilliance Junjie FRV will get a facelift to bring its design up to date with the new Brilliance V5 SUV and H530 sedan, the facelifted car will debut in China at the Beijing Auto Show in April. Changes are an all-new bigger grille and bumper and an altogether sportier look.

Current car. Price starts at 43.800 and ends at 85.300 yuan. Engines: 1.3 and 1.5. Price and power will move to the facelifted car unchanged.

The FRV Cross will be facelifted as well. New alloys look very cool. Cross-treatment stays the same with plastic around the wheels, plastic in the bumpers and a roofrack.

New design for the rear lights, very sharp indeed, and a new bumper. New car certainly loox a bit better than the old one, Brilliance’s design seems to be improving with every car they do, except for sure that V5…

The new Brilliance H330 sedan will be listed on the China car market in April, it will debut at the Beijing Auto Show in that same month. There will be two engines: 1.3 and 1.5, mated to a 5-speed manual or a 5-speed automatic. Price for the 1.3 will start around 80.000 yuan, for the 1.5 around 90.000 yuan. Another extremely modified Brilliance BS4 from China. Earlier on we saw one Brilliance BS6 which wanted to be a BMW, today we have a BS4 with Lambo-doors. Things that changed: the doors for sure, low profile tires, new alloys, a full-size body kit, new bumper and a new bonnet wrapped in gold.

This great car resides somewhere in Liaoning Province in north-east China. The capital of Liaoning is Shenyang which is also home of Brilliance Automotive and the Brilliance-BMW joint venture.

The standard Brilliance BS4 sedan is a fine car for a good price but it is rather boring as well. The BS4 however has a huge following in the tuning-scene, it is easy to tune up the engine to much more horsepower that than standard max 120. The BS4 is also used a lot for amateur-racing, just like its bigger brother BS6.

Big wing, diffuser, all good. Good car, approved!

New spy shots from the upcoming Brilliance H330 sedan (fka Brilliance A0) testing in the snow in China, likely close to Brilliance’s northern headquarters in cold Shenyang. The H330 will debut at the Beijing Auto Show in April.

Power comes from a 1.5 four-cylinder, possibly with a turbocharged variant. The standard 1.5 comes with 136hp and 200nm. Transmission: 5-speed manual or 5-speed automatic. Price will start around 90.000 yuan.

Here we have a very special car. It loox very much like the last gen BMW 5-series but it is not. It is indeed a Brilliance BS6 with a BMW-ized front. The combination isn’t so strange as it seems, Brilliance and BMW have a joint venture that made this old 5, it makes the new 5 now, and the 3. This automan so didn’t move that far away from home.

The Brilliance-BMW 5-series. The automan really made a match up front, his Brilliance loox remarkably much like the BMW. Good job. He didn’t buy any BMW-badges but a Brilliance-badge it ain’t either, probably something self-designed.

Changes at the back aren’t so notable. We see BMW-esque exhaust pipes but that’s about it. New wing just big enough, self-made logo again. Plate puts this masterpiece, a jewel in the Brilliance-crown, in the great city of Tianjin, Tianjin Municipality. If you live there; look out!

Brilliance Automotive is working on a medium-sized sedan codenamed ‘A0′, it will likely debut at the April 2012 Beijing Auto Show and is the brand’s smallest car so far. The A0 will be powered by a new 1.5 four-cylinder, possibly with a turbocharged variant.

We now know the size: 3914/1778/1479mm, wheelbase is 2510mm. Price will start around 90.000 yuan.

The Brilliance Greater China sedan debuted as a concept at the Shanghai Auto Show in April. Brilliance has decided to build it and that is good news because this indeed is a beautiful car. Production will start in 2013 and the Greater China will be listed in late 2013 or early 2014.

The Greater China, name will likely change, will be positioned above the Brilliance BS6, currently the biggest car in the line-up. The BS6 itself will be replaced in 2013. What kind of engine will power the Greater China is yet unsure, looking at those sporty lines it should at least be a V6. Brilliance does give a target-price, price will start between 150.000 and 180.000 yuan. The BS6 ends around 130.000 yuan.

The Brilliance-Jinbei S30 mini-SUV debuted as a concept car in April at the Shanghai Auto Show. Brilliance has since been busy testing the S30 and the near-production car debuted at the Guangzhou Auto Show in a nice blue paint job. The Jinbei S30 will be listed in January 2012, price will range from 60.000 to 80.000 yuan.

The Jinbei S30 was expected to hit da market in July next year, it will come much earlier now, guess testing went fine. The S30 has to compete in a hyper competitive market for small suv’s. Highly rewarding as well, China snaps ‘m up like rice cakes.  Size: 3995x1725x1644, wheelbase is 2500.

Engine: Brilliance’s own 1.5 VVT with 75kw and 135nm.

The Brilliance V5 SUV has been officially listed on the China car market, the V5 debuted this morning at the Guangzhou Auto Show. Price starts at at 109.800 and ends at 165.800 yuan.

Two engines: a Mitsubishi 1.6 with 118hp and 151nm or Brilliance’s own 1.5 turbo with 136hp and 200nm. Transmission: 5-speed manual or 5-speed automatic. Drive-train: 4×4 or FWD. The V6 is based on the same platform as the Brilliance H530 sedan.
