Today I went to see ‘DS World’ in Shanghai, where I met the Citroen DS Wild Rubis concept car. DS World is a very hip kinda dealer, selling only the DS-range in a cool building with cool furniture with a cool floor and many other cool things. An interesting car-shopping concept and a first in China. The Citroen DS Wild Rubis just debuted on the Shanghai Auto Show. More on the car in a minute. The pictures of the DS Wild Rubis are not that good. That is not our fault. It is Citroen’s fault. See that X%&* purple-light ornament reflecting in the window? Bad memories! With that thing hanging right above the vehicle it is just impossible to get one shot right.

The very first live shots of the Citroen DS Wild Rubis concept, it will debut on the Shanghai Auto Show later this week. The fine vehicle was seen when it was unpacked from its crate at an open square near the exhibition hall. The production version of the DS Wild Rubis will be based on the Citroen DS5, and it will be called DS X7.

Citroen has released the first pictures of the DS Wild Rubis concept that will debut on the Shanghai Auto Show next week. Chinese media report today that the production version will be based on the DS5, and that it will be called ‘DS X7′.

New spy shots of the upcoming China-made Citroen DS5, it will be launched on the Chinese car market in the third quarter of this year. The Citroen DS5 will be made in China by the new Chang’an-PSA joint venture. The platform of the DS5 will also underpin the new Citroen DSX Crossover that will be made in China as well.

Citroen will debut a new ‘DSX Crossover’ on the Shanghai Auto Show. The DSX is based on the Citroen DS5 and will be made in China from 2014 by the Chang’an-PSA joint venture. Chinese production of the Citroen DS5 will start in later this year.
Chang’an Auto sells 50% stake in PSA joint venture to Chang’an Auto

China’s Changan Automobile Group is selling its 50 percent stake in joint-venture with PSA Peugeot Citroen to its listed unit, Chongqing Changan Automobile Corporation, sources with direct knowledge of the matter said, in a sale worth 2 billion yuan ($320 million).
An executive at the Chinese parent company said the move was aimed at streamlining its business and the group’s relationship with the French car maker remains unchanged. He declined to be identified because he was not allowed to talk to the media.

Spy shots from the China-made Citroen DS5, it will be launched on the China auto market in mid 2013, made in China by the new Chang’an-Citroen joint venture. In Chinese the DS-branded Citroens will be called ‘Diyishi’, a transliteration of ‘DS’.
Citroen DS3 will hit the Chinese auto market on August 31

The Citroen DS3 will be launched on the China auto market on August 31. Price will start around 160.000 yuan. Power will come from the 1.6 turbo in two variations, 155hp and 200hp, mated to a five-speed manual or a six-speed automatic. The DS3 will be imported, local production at the new Chang’an-PSA joint venture won’t start before late 2013. Via: Sohu.
Spy Shots: Citroen C3 hanging out in China

Spy shots from an uncamouflaged Citroen C3 driving around somewhere in Guangdong Province. Citroen currently doesn’t sell the C3 in China but earlier we heard the C3 might be launched on the Chinese car market in 2013.
