Spy Shots: Qoros GQ3 testing in China, dressed in Qoros camo

New ‘spy shots’ of the Qoros GQ3 driving around Shanghai. Qoros doesn’t do any trouble to hide anymore, camouflaging this test car in a Qoros wrap, which is not a not-funny idea. Qoros released the first official pictures of the GQ3 in late December, it will debut on the Geneva Auto Show in March and will have its China-debut on the Shanghai Auto Show in April.

Patent Applied: Chery E2 hatchback = Chery E1

Patent drawings of a car we know as the Chery E2 hatchback, code named S31, and based on the Chery E2 sedan. New reports in Chinese media indicate the hatchback will be sold as a separate model called ‘Chery E1′. New Chery QQ from All Sides in China

The smiling new Chery QQ is out in China, it will be officially launched on the Chinese market next month but dealers are already accepting reservations so we know the price, which starts at 39.000 yuan and ends at 43.000 yuan. To end all speculation on the engines: power comes from a 69hp 3-cylinder mated to a 5-speed manual. Other engines will follow but not very soon.
Chery QQ is Pink in… Argentina

Here we have a very pink Chery QQ with sexy eyebrows, seen in the great city of Mar del Plata in Argentina by reader Pablo, thank you very much for the picture! Chery entered Argentina in 2009, it currently sells the QQ, the A1, the Tiggo, and the A3 sedan and hatchback. The cheapest Chery QQ goes for 54.925 peso or 11.060 USD. Pink paint is sadly not an official option so the owner must love her QQ a lot.

The Chery E2 sedan will be positioned below the upcoming Chery E3, it will be launched on the Chinese car market later this year, debut is expected for the Shanghai Auto Show in April.

Production of the new Chery QQ (not QQ5) started earlier this week. Chery organized a fine ceremony at the factory which was kinda semi-secret so we didn’t see that much of the new QQ. Fortunately we found an extra load of pics from the same even, including this interesting photo where a real worker, helmet still on his head, drives the first Chery QQ of the line, while a manager-sorta-man is waving a red flag.

Production of the new Chery QQ has finally started in China, Chery has worked for some three years on the eventual successor of the original QQ/QQ3. Biggest news: it will be called ‘QQ’, not ‘QQ5′.
The new Chery QQ will be launched on the Chinese car market in March, price will start somewhere between 40.000 and 50.000 yuan. Chery says the new QQ will be highly customizable, buyers can for example choose between 20 different colors for the interior.

Another week, another ‘leak’ from Qoros. This time we have pictures of a model of a CC-like sport sedan. It will fit somewhere between the upcoming Qoros GQ3 and the far-future flagship sportmachine. The vehicle loox certainly attractive but details are sparse.
