Published on February 6, 2013 by W.E. Ning
The new FAW-Xiali N7 cross-compact will be launched on the Chinese auto market in March. In December last year we heard the Xiali N7 would be launched this January but apparently there has been some delay. The funky lines of the N7 are a bold move for FAW-Xiali where design is usually very conservative. The interior is even better:

These are the very first pictures of the interior of the production version of the Hongqi L7, and we are positively impressed. Beautifully crafted, top end materials and completely digital. Especially impressive is the center tunnel with a ‘floating’ layer of wood on top of it.

An extremely rare Hongqi CA72 has been spotted in Romania, parked rather lonely on a quiet street in front of a Dacia pickup truck. The Hongqi CA72 was made from 1959 until 1965. In 6 years only 198 cars were made, making the CA72 one of the rarest Hongqi’s. We only met two examples in China, both safely stored in museums.

Shanghai Car Museum: Hongqi CA770
Published on December 20, 2012 by Tycho de Feyter
This is the perfect Hongqi CA770 state limousine from the Shanghai Car Museum, it is definitely one of the best looking examples I have seen in China so far. The Hongqi (Red Flag) CA770 was a giant sedan made exclusively for the Chinese government, only 847 cars were produced in its long life from 1966 until 1981.
