Patent Applied: Gonow working on new SUV in China

Gonow Auto has applied for patent on a new medium-sized SUV, internally called ‘GA city SUV’. The vehicle will be launched on the Chinese auto market next year. Gonow Auto is a a subsidiary of Guangzhou Auto since 2010 and interestingly, the GA city SUV loox very much like the Guangzhou Auto Trumpchi GS5 SUV.
Gonow Aoosed GX5 hits the Chinese car market

This is the new Gonow Aoosed GX5 SUV, it has been listed on the China car market, price starts at 135.800 yuan and ends at 151.800 yuan. The GX5 is based on the Aoosed G5 which debuted two years ago at the 2010 Beijing Auto Show was listed last year.
Paten Applied: Guangzhou Auto Gonow van

Gonow is a brand under the Guangzhou Auto umbrella. It makes cheap SUV’s and soon it will be in the van-business as well. They are working on a new ‘CDV’, or Car Derived Van. For design the took a good look at the Nissan NV200 just as BYD did with their CDV.

The Gonow Aoosed G5, no kidding, debuted at the Beijing Auto Show in April and is now back again in Guangzhou. This time it is ready for the market and made in a joint venture with Guangzhou Automotive. Car and weird name didn’t change a bit.
Size: 4640×1815×1800, wheelbase is 2745 and weight 1700kg for the 2wd and 1790 for the 4wd. Engine is a Mitsubishi-sourced 2.4 with a far too less 100kw and 196nm.

The price for the weirdest name goes to this one, congratulations Gonow with the Aoosed G5. Actually a very fine looking car and new luxury territory for Gonow, might they succeed. Size: 4640x1815x1800, wheelbase is 2745 and weight 1700kg for the 2wd and 1790 for the 4wd. A small difference indeed. Engine is a 2.4 with a far too less 100kw and 196nm@2500-3500rpm. Price for this machine will start around 160.000, hitting right on a very busy and competitive marketplace.
Beijing Auto Show Preview: Gonow GS2, or is it?

This is the new Gonow GS2 SUV. But, the name that circulated on the intenet for months is now suddenly unsure. This car parked on a parking lot outside the exhibition hall had another name on the back:
Aoosed GS. That’s a really weird one, even for China.
