Spy Shots: Guangzhou Auto Trumpchi Hybrid

Guangzhou Auto will launch a hybrid version of the Trumpchi sedan on the Guangzhou Auto Show later this month. The Trumpchi Hybrid loox the same as the base Trumpchi except for the badges that are painted blue, because blue is green.
Guangzhou Auto Trumpchi & Trumpchi GS5 will get a 1.8 turbo in China

The Guangzhou Auto Trumpchi sedan and Trumpchi GS5 SUV (pic) will both get a new 1.8 turbo with 177hp and 230nm. Both vehicles will debut on the Guangzhou Auto Show in November, the turbocharged Trumpchi sedan will hit the Chinese car market late this year, the Trumpchi GS5 early next year. The Trumpchi’s are currently available with a 144hp 1.8 or a 150hp 2.0. The 2.0 is an old Fiat engine that will likely die soon after the 1.8 turbo arrives. Via: Autohome.

New spy shots from the Guangzhou Auto AF (code name) testing in China, it will likely debut at the Guangzhou Auto Show in November. The AF is a mid-size sedan that will compete with fine cars such as the Roewe 350 and Chang’an Eado.

The Guangzhou Auto E-Linker debuted as a concept on the Beijing Auto Show in April and these are the patent drawings of the production car. Most concept thingies have gone leaving a decent looking 2-door compact hatchback. The concept was electric, hence the name, but the real deal will be powered by small patrol engines, likely 1.3 and 1.5. The name so will very likely change as well but as long as we don’t know the new name yet we stick with E-Linker.

The upcoming Guangzhou Auto AF has been spotted testing in China again. The AF, a code name, is a new mid-size sedan that will hit the China car market in the first half of next year, priced between 60.000 and 80.000 yuan.

The Guangzhou auto E-Linker debuted on the Beijing Auto Show. The E-Linker is an electric concept that previews a new compact hatchback that will be sold under the Guangzhou Auto brand-name. It will be the fourth car in Guangzhou’s line-up, after the Trumpchi sedan, the Trumpchi GS5 SUV and the upcoming compact sedan.

The Guangzhou Auto Trumpchi GS5 has been listed on the Chinese car market. Earlier on we heard some confusing news about the price of the new GS5 SUV in China. Very early it was said the price would start around 150.000 yuan, it then went down to 110.000 yuan and this week down again to less than 100.000 yuan. That indeed, is a car getting cheaper! But it all was not true. These are the official figures: price starts at 123.800 yuan and ends at 229.800 yuan.

New spy shots from the upcoming Guangzhou Auto Trumpchi GS5 SUV. The final production version will debut at the Beijing Auto Show in April, the ‘almost-ready concept’ debuted at the Guangzhou Auto Show in December last year. Real car loox for 99% the same, notable exceptions are the wheels and there seems to be some extra shiny chrome in the grill. The Trumpchi GS5 will be listed in late April, price will start around 110.000 yuan.
