Haima Family with scissor doors from China

A very sporty Haima Family with scissor doors, the normal Family is a rather boring medium sized family sedan. Seen at a local auto show in Qingdao of Shandong Province.

Haima used to be a joint venture between Hainan Auto and Mazda, hence the name. When FAW bought Hainan Auto  it took the joint venture away and renamed it FAW-Mazda. Hainan Auto continued to use the Haima name for a Mazda-based line of automobiles.

Facelift for the Haima 7 SUV in China

The Haima  7 SUV was listed in July last year and will receive a facelift soon. Changes are small and mostly at the front. Bit more chrome here and there and a slightly different bumper.

Shanghai Auto Show: Haima C2 SUV Concept

A very nice looker from Haima from the tropical island province Hainan. All that sunshine one day had to result in a decent design and this seems the first one. The C2 is a concept but not too much, it will hit the showroom sometime in late 2012 or early 2013.

Haima Freema C-Sport for the Shanghai Auto Show

The standar Haima Freema MPV is a rather boring looking vehicle about which not many, even in China, have ever heard about. Haima so wants to spice it up a bit with this Freema C-Sport which will debut at the Shanghai Auto Show. The C-Sport got some extra plastic here and there but sadly no more power.

Chinese automaker Haima will bring a new concept suv to the Shanghai Auto Show. Is has all the crazywazy thingies of a concept but sizewise it loox bigger than the Haima 7 SUV that was listed in July last year. The concept might be the first sign of a second SUV in Haima’s line up.

Haima starts Production Freema EV

Chinese automaker Haima has started production of the Freema EV, a full electric based on the Freema MPV. It is so far a demonstration project, 12 have been made, but plans are big; Haima wants to make 3500 for fleet use. The Freema EV has a range of 160 kilometer, charging takes only 20 minutes for an 80% charge on a special fast-charging apparatus. Charging at home on 220v possible but Haima doesn’t say how long that one takes.

Haima will soon hit the Chinese auto market with the facelifted Haima 2, likely to debut at the Shanghai Auto Show in April. Most changes are up front with bigger heaglights and a simplified design of the bumper section.

Haima Price Listed & Priced

FAW-Haima Automobile launched the Haima Prince, Wangzi in Chinese. Price starts at 29.980 yuan and ends at 43.800 yuan. Engine is a 1.0 with 47.5kw and 83nm. Size: 3590x1540x1486, wheelbase is 2332. Haima used to be a joint venture between Hainan Auto and Mazda, hence the name.

When FAW took over Hainan Auto  it took the joint venture away and renamed it FAW-Mazda. Hainan Auto continued to use the Haima name, now called FAW-Haima, for a Mazda-based line of automobiles. Recenly however Haima started designing their own cars with this new Prince on the forefront.

Haima Fushida mini-mpv Listed and Priced

The facelifted Haima Fushida mini-mpv debuted at the Beijing Auto Show and is now listed on da market. Price: from 36.800 to 45.800 yuan. Engine: 1.0 with 61hp. Size: 4100×1566×1865, wheelbase is 2500. Haima used to be a joint venture between Hainan Auto and Mazda, hence the name, but is now on its own and was allowed to keep the name. Their earlier producs were basically rebadged Mazda’s but things are lately getting better with new cars and original designs.

Haima 7 SUV Priced

The Haima 7 SUV debuted at the Beijing Auto Show and it is now ready to sell. It comes with a lone 2.0 engine and two luxury-levels. Basic car costs 113.800 yuan, car with all the goodies does 136.800 yuan.
