This is my Spot of the Year 2016; an ultra rare XJ81 Jaguar XJ12 6 Litres painted in British Racing Green, Spotted in China at a car tuning shop in east Beijing. The good Jag’ was dusty and dirty but otherwise in a good shape; paint was smooth and chrome shiny, and I didn’t see any obvious rust or rot.
Spy Shots showing the new 2017 Land Rover Discovery testing in China, revealing most of its lights, grille, and bumper. The new Discovery will be launched late this year. It will be made in England and in China by the Chery-JLR joint venture.
A Jaguar driver had a bad day in China, crashing an F-Type convertible off the stairs in the great city of Fuzhou in Fujian Province. The poor driver was fooled. Look at the pattern on the left, with white stripes. The pavement has exactly the same pattern. Seen from above it looks like…
The Jaguar XFL has debuted on the 2016 Beijing Auto Show. The XFL is a China-only stretched variant of the Jaguar XF sedan. Wheelbase is extended by 14 centimeters, note the roof line behind the B-pillar, and all the extra space goes to the passengers in the back.
A very rare Jaguar XJ Sport V8, Spotted parked on a street in front of a bank in the far east of Beijing. The good Jag’ was painted in blue green and fitted with the original-optional five-spoke alloys. The car was in very good shape but sadly missed the Jaguar hood ornament.
A beautiful beige Jaguar Sovereign, Spotted in China in an alley in the Former French Concession Area in the great city of Shanghai by Reader Antoine Chalendard, thank you for the photos! The good Jag’ appears to be in near perfect shape, shiny in chrome and smooth in paint, everything original and no rust or rot in sight.

A very sweet Jaguar S-Type, Spotted in China in a residential area in Beijing. The S was in a fairly good shape, with smooth green paint, shiny chrome, all parts were on the car, and I didn’t see any rust or rot. The S-Type was manufactured from 1999 until 2008 with facelifts in 2003 and 2005. This is an early pre-all-facelifts example.
