The new Volvo XC40 will have its worldwide debut on the Shanghai Auto Show in April. The XC40 is a compact crossover SUV that will be positioned below the Volvo XC60. Design of the XC40 was previewed by the 40.1 and 40.2 concept cars.
This is the T-King Oujia, a low-speed electric vehicle (LSEV) from China. The vehicle is exactly three meters long, it seats four, and looks rather good for the segment. Most eye catching design aspect is the Volvo grille up front.
The new Volvo S90 L has been launched on the Chinese auto market. The S90 L is the long-wheelbase variant of the Volvo S90 sedan. Price starts at 399.800 yuan and ends at 579.800 yuan. This is the ‘standard’ L. The ultra-luxurious 3-seat S90 L Excellence will launch next year.
An ultra sleek Volvo C70 Coupe, Spotted in China on a car market in east Beijing. The Swedish sportscar was in very good shape with a clean body and interior, completely original, and without any rust or rot in sight. I found her at a small repair shop specialized in maintaining older Volvo’s.
The Volvo S90 L has been unveiled at the Guangzhou Auto Show in China. The S90 L is the long-wheelbase variant of the Volvo S90 sedan. The S90 L is manufactured in the city of Daqing in northeastern China. It will launch on the Chinese car market this month. Wheelbase of the S90 L has been extended with 12 centimeters compared to the standard S90. All the extra space goes to the passengers in the rear. In China the S90 L competes with other locally made long-wheelbase cars such as the Audi A6L, the BMW 5Li, the Jaguar XFL, and the Mercedes-Benz E-Class L. But Volvo has something that none of the others has: a three-seater.

The new Volvo S90 Long-wheelbase has debuted in China, it will be launched on the Chinese auto market on December 15. Public debut is scheduled for 19 November on the Guangzhou Auto Show. First a bit fuss about the name: it is not called the S90L, like the S80L, or the S60L, or the Audi A6L, or Mecedes C-Class L, or Jaguar XF-L, or you name it L. Instead, it is called S90 Long-wheelbase (S90 长轴距). On earlier py shots we clearly saw a S90L badge, but the L has been dropped.
Geely launched Lynk & Co in Sweden last night and we have the first photos of their first SUV; imaginatively called the 01, and formerly known by its code name CX11. The Link & Co 01 has become a very good looking car. The lights, hood, and grille give it a very sporty stance. And there was more: they also had a racy four-door sedan concept car on display.
New news about Geely’s fuzzy new LYNK & CO brand, not to be confused with Ford’s Lincoln brand. The Chinese name is Lingke (凌克) a meaningless translation of LYNK. The & CO part of the name has no translation in Chinese. As for the English name, Geely has also registered a “K by Geely” trademark, with the K referring to the K in LINK.
Just when Geely has finally killed off all its wuzzy sub-brands (GLEagle and the lot) they are launching a brand new brand. Some companies never learn. The new brand has a crazy name: LYNK & CO. In Capitals. The brand will be positioned between Geely and Volvo.
