A brand new car from our favorite bad-ass vehicle maker from China. This is the Xiaolong XLW-Z01 infantry fighting vehicle (IFV). It was designed for the Chinese army and specifically for amphibious operations, the underside of the body the therefore shaped like a boat.

The Xialong XL2060L ‘Fierce Dragon’ is a monstrous Hummer-size military spec off-road vehicle that is used by the Chinese army in various versions, it is made by a company called Xiaolong Auto from the great city of Wuhan in Hubei Province. Chinese media reports that Xiaolong Auto is planning a civilian version of the XL2060 for 1 million yuan or 160.000 US dollar.

Seen at a police equipment exhibition in Beijing, a mighty 6×6 all terrain vehicle from Chinese manufacturer Xiaolong Auto from Wuhan in Hubei Province. It is in prototype stage, hence the simple name: ‘armored vehicle’. Armored it is, Xialong hopes to sell it to the Chinese army, the PLA. China preaches a lot about peace these days, Xialong so couldn’t arrive with camouflage and went for UN-white instead. Read more »

The XL2060L is a giant suv in Hummer-style from Xiaolong Auto. I read about the machine before but this was the first time I met one in the real world and impressive it is. The Chinese army is currently testing it for military use in remote and barbarian areas such as Tibet.
