Zotye joins the cloning game in China with this new Z300 sedan. It is an almost exact copy of the JDM Toyota Allion. A big step back for Zotye, until now they mostly made rebadged Fiats and Daihatsu’s under license. Not good, but at least they paid for it. The Z300 however is just a plain Chinese clone. Horrible!, bad Zotye.

New spy shots from the upcoming Zoyte minicar code named A00. The A00 has about the size of the Suzuki Alto and, one must say, the loox as well. Zotye did however change the front a bit. Except that, the A00 and Alto seem for 99% similar.

Chinese automaker Zotye is on a roll. In late May it listed the Fiat-based Z200 and Z200HB, the new Z300 sedan will be listed in Q4 and on Zotye showed three more concept cars on the Shanghai Auto Show in April. It will come very cheap and will compete with cars such as the Chang’an-Suzuki Alto. Debut is now expected later this year, likely at the Guangzhou Auto Show in December.
