Zotye has officially launched the V10 minivan on the Chinese market. The V10 will compete with offerings from Wuling and Chang’an. Price starts at 39.800 yuan and ends at 50.800 yuan.

Roewe W5 listed & priced in China

Finally! The Roewe W5 SUV has been officially listed on the Chinese car market. Price starts at 171.800 yuan and ends at  298.800 yuan. The W5 is based on the Ssangyong Kyron. It comes with two engines: a 3.6 straight six that Ssangyong once bought from Mercedes-Benz and a 1.8 turbo from parent SAIC.

Brilliance 530 = Brilliance H530

The Brilliance 530 debuted as a concept at the Shanghai Auto Show in April. Brilliance announced in Jult that it would be listed in August. The date still stands, the name however changed. The brilliance 530 is now officially the Brilliance H530. Brilliance didn’t say why. Engine at launch will be a Mitsubishi 1.6, a stronger Brilliance 1.5 turbo is in the worx. Via: Autohome.

Audi A3 Sportback listed & priced in China

The Audi A3 Sportback has been officially listed on the Chinese auto market. Price starts at 255.000 yuan and ends at 328.000 yuan. The A3 Sportback is imported, there are no plans yet for local production. Engines for China: 1.4 turbo and 1.8 turbo. Via: Sohu.com.

Chang’an Yuexiang ‘S’ listed & priced in China

The Chang’an Yuexiang S is a sporty version of the standard Yuexiang. Only difference is the rather good looking body kit, there is no extra power which likely means the S is actually slower than the standard car due to the extra weight. But who cares? , cars are all about the way they look.

Facelifted Chery A1 to be listed in China in mid-August

The facelifted Chery A1 will be listed on the Chinese market in mid-August. Changes to the exterior are small with only a slightly updated front section. Changes in the interior are bigger with a new dashboard. Biggest news comes from under the hood with a brand new 1.0 engine. The only engine available now is a 1.3.

Chang’an E301 to see Production in China

Chang’an’s crazy E301 Concept debuted at the 2009 Shanghai Auto Show and sort of dissapeared afterwards. But it ain’t gone no more, Chang’an has serious plans to actually built it. Some of the maddest details will dissapear, like the Gullwing doors, but the overall design will not change much.

Roewe’s W5 SUV debuted at the Shanghai Auto Show in April after having been in the worx for almost 6 years. An old car so, presented as new.  The W5 is based on the SsangYong Kyron and comes with an ancient 3.6 straight six that Ssangyong once bought from Mercedes-Benz.

Chery Riich G6 listed & priced in China

Chery yesterday officially listed the Riich G6 sedan on the Chinese market. August 1 is also the birthday of the People’s Liberation Army, the PLA, which is now 84 years old. Congrats to all soldiers and generals. Chery threw a heck of a party for the listing of the G6 and invited a bunch of soldiers. Some G-sixes at the listing had white army-license plates. Chery clearly hopes to get some army-men out of their Audi’s.

The new Zotye V10 is aimed at minivan powerhouses Wuling and Chang’an. It is new territory for Zotye that never made this sort of cars before. Price will start around 30.000 yuan and end around 50.000 yuan.
