Brilliance H230 debuts at the Beijing Auto Show

This is the new Brilliance H230 sedan, it debuted on the Beijing Auto Show and will be listed on the China car market in the second half of this year. Design worked out very well, it is a sharp looking small sedan that will certainly win buyers. Brilliance’s design has been improving fast over the last couple ‘a years, may it continue! Now, note that ‘journalist’ in a kinda dirty white t-shirt at the back of the car.

The Jaguar XJL Ulitmate is the ultimate XJL when it comes to luxury for passengers in the back, perfectly so for China and no wonder it debuted at the Beijing Auto Show. This is the second XJ designed for the Chinese market, last year Jaguar sold out a limited ‘XJ Panorama Business Edition‘ in just a few months, this new Ultimate isn’t limited but will likely sell like hot rice anyway.

Talking about a big Benz! The mighty Mercedes-Benz C65 AMG debuted at the Beijing Auto Show and it has been listed on the Chinese car market immediately for 1.698 million yuan, or 270.000 USD. Lotta money but a lotta power! Biturbo V12 poops out 612hp and 1000nm, Mercedes-Benz claims is 230km/h top speed. Not bad for a farmer’s favorite that was once mostly used to ferry sheep to the vet in stormy nights in rural Germany and Austria. The G has become a symbol of wealth, nowhere more so than in China. Zotye Z300 debuts at the Beijing Auto Show

The new Zotye Z300 sedan debuted at the Beijing Auto Show. The Zotye Z300 is a shameless copy of the Toyota Allion. Zotye so should say: “thank you Toyota!”, but they don’t. And Toyota doesn’t sue. They wouldn’t win anyway, not a change. The Z300 will hit the Chinese car market in the second half of this year, price is expected to start around 65.000 yuan.
Hongqi H7 debuts at the Beijing Auto Show

This is the new Hongqi H7, it debuted at the Beijing Auto Show and it will be listed on the Chinese car market before the end of this year. The Hongqi H7 has to compete with such fine cars as the Audi A6L, the Benz E-class, BMW 5-series and Volvo S80. Well, the grill loox certainy got more chrome than all competitors together. The new Hongqi L7 limousine debuted at the Beijing Auto Show. The Hongqi (Red Flag) L7 is the short wheelbase version of the massive CA7600L state-limousine-parade car that debuted at the 2010 Beijing Auto Show. The Hongqi L7 will sadly not be sold to the general public but some hundred will be made to ferry around ‘dignitaries’ during the Communist Party’s congress in October. The real VIP-dignitaries, like president Hu Jintao, will use the CA7600L.
FAW-Besturn B90 debuts at the Beijing Auto Show

The new Besturn B90 debuted at the Beijing Auto Show today. The B90 has a massive chromed grill and is the biggest Besturn-branded car so far, it will be listed on the Chinese car market soon after the show ends, price is expected to start around 145.000 yuan. That grill, is worth the money alone…

The new Zhongxing Urban Ark debuted today at the Beijing Auto Show, yez, the English name is Urban Ark indeed and that means Zhongxing has hereby won the ‘price for the best weird name’ at the show this year. Congrats Zhongxing! Things however get much better, because there wasn’t just one Urban Ark, there were two. The Urban Ark on the first pic was code named C12, we have seen it around on spy shots a couple of times.
Fiat Viaggio debuts on the Beijing Auto Show

The new Fiat Viaggio debuted today at the Beijing Auto Show, it will be listed on the Chinese car market in the second half of this year and that is a bit later than expected. The Viaggio is based on the Dodge Dart that is based on Fiat’s C-EVO platform that also underpins the Alfa Romeo Giulietta. Its looks however are much more stylish than the Dart, much more Italian if you like, and definitely more than just a simple rebadge.
Beijing Auto C70G debuts on the Beijing Auto Show

The Beijing Auto C70G debuted today at the Beijing Auto Show, it will be listed on the China car market by the end of this year. The C70G is based on the old Saab 9-5 but its loox were much better than expected, the old Saab turned into a sleek sporty sedan with an especially well-designed front. Great job.
