The very cool Great Wall Haval E concept debuted at the Beijing Auto Show, with incredible Lambo-style doors that make it loox like an angry bat. The Haval E concept is a hybrid and previews a new crossover hatchback that will hit the Chinese car market within three years. Doors will go, wheels will be silver and power will come from decent 1.5 and 1.5 turbo patrol engines.

Dongfeng has promised us a civilian version of the famous ‘Dongfeng Hummer‘, nicknamed ‘Brave Soldier’, correctly called ‘EQ2050′. This very yellow EQ2050 M3D is a concept car that debuted at the Beijing Auto Show previews just such a car. The rough warrior, the Chinese army uses zillions of EQ2050′s, has been sexed up for the street with softer lines up front and at the back. The T5 is officially still a concept but will be listed on the Chinese car market near the end of the year with just a few changes. The T5 stands on the same, but stretched, platform as the Youngman-Lotus L5 which is based on the Malaysian Proton Gen2.

The massive Dongfeng HUV debuted today at the Beijing Auto Show. A pleasant surprise, we knew that Dongfeng was working on it but we didn’t expect to see it here yet. The HUV is design-wise clearly inspired by the sadly long-gone Hummer H2/H3 and that we did expects because Dongfeng has some very notable Hummer-experience.

The MG Icon SUV debuted today at the Beijing Auto Show. The Icon is design-wise inspired by the good old MGB GT. It is very much still a concept car in loox but MG has plans to actually make it, to compete with fine cars such as the Nissan Qashqai and Mazda CX-5.
