There are good Lamborghini’s and there are fast Lamborghini’s, fast Lamborghini’s are better Lamborghini’s. The Gallardo LP570-4 Super Trofeo Stradale is a better Lamborghini. It is based on the track-only Lamborghini Blancpain Super Trofeo and just 150 will be made. This is the first one to arrive in China, pictured at Lamborghini’s dealership in Beijing.

Published on December 28, 2011 by Tycho de Feyter

The Aston Martin One-77 will always be a very rare supercar. Only 77 will be made and only 5 are allocated to China. This is the second car we know about, seen here in an underground parking in the great city of Shenzhen (hello B.S.!) in southern Guangdong province. The first car was a white example we saw in May at a supercar-party in Shanghai.
An incredible matte black Lamborghini Aventador in China
Published on December 27, 2011 by Tycho de Feyter
The Lamborghini Aventador LP700-4 is by far the best looking supercar in the world, and in matte black it loox even better, like this example seen on a street somewhere in Zhejiang Province. See especially the pics with the Aventador together with a 458 Italia, that Ferrari loox like a boat in comparison.
Beijing Auto Weiwang police van in Beijing
Published on December 24, 2011 by Tycho de Feyter

Seen a couple of days ago on my way to work. This is a brand-new Beijing Auto Weiwang 306 min-van in police livery. The Weiwang-brand was launched back in March and this was the first time I saw one in the wild. Weiwang is focused on minicars and minivans with small engines and a lotta space. In Chinese those sorta vans are called ‘mianbaoche’, or bread-car, because their shape is similar the a steamed bun.

A Zotye thinks it is a Toyota in China
Published on December 24, 2011 by Tycho de Feyter

Here we have a very schizophrenic car, parked on a parking lot close to my home in Beijing. It is a Zotye 2008 mini SUV but badged as a Toyota. Car-buyers can get these badges right at the dealer, no need for the after market. Things though get even worse:

Here we have a very interesting second hand car on offer in the great city of Liaoyang in north-eastern Liaoning province. It is the long wheelbase version of the Hongqi Shijixing, or Century Star. Here we have a very big and very nice Hummer H2, parked at a dealer in Beijing. The mean machine is over 10 meters long and comes with 6-wheels. We like. Best part in the interior:
