Where some Saabs keep dying, others live on. This is the new Beijing AutoShenbao EV, a full-electric vehicle based on the Beijing Auto D70, formerly known as the Beijing Auto D-Series, which again is based on the last-generation Saab 9-5. Beijing Auto bought the rights to the Saab 9-3 and Saab 9-5 from GM in 2009.
First Auto Works (FAW) has applied for patent on the Hongqi 77X for the Chinese car market. We first met the Hongqi 77X in June 2012 when it was still in its design phase. Design has been finalized now and the 77X is scheduled for debut on the April 2015 Shanghai Auto Show.

This is the new Chery EQ, a new full-electric vehicle based on the new Chery QQ. The Chery EQ will be launched on the China car market in the second half of this year. Power will come from an electric motor with a very decent 56hp. Price for the Chery EQ will start around 80.000 yuan but subsidies of central and local governments can bring that down to some 50.000 yuan.
New spy shots of the hotly anticipated MG5 Four-door Coupe. The various photos show three camouflaged vehicles, indicating the test program is well under way. The MG5 Four-door Coupe will debut on the Chengdu Auto Show in September with a launch on the China car market in October.
