New spy shots from the upcoming FAW-Besturn X80 SUV, it will be launched on the Chinese car market in the first half of next year. The Besturn X80 is based on the platform of the last generation Mazda 6 that is made in China by the FAW-Mazda joint venture.
BYD F0 will get an automatic transmission in China

BYD is working on an automatic transmission for the F0, the BYF F0 AMT will debut on the Chinese auto market early next year. The BYD F0 is currently only available with a 5-speed manual with seriously hampers sales, especially among women.
Geely GLEagle GX5 is Completely Different in China

A kinda vague drawing from a small city SUV, with ‘Geely GLEagle GX5′ written on the license plate. The GLEagle GX5 as we know it is however a rather different vehicle. Chinese media say the GX5 has been “redesigned” and stands on the same platform as the ‘old’ GX5. The newly designed vehicle is expected to be launched on the Chinese car market sometime next year.
BYD Qin shows its Back in China

The BYD Qin debuted as a concept on the Beijing Auto Show in April and we are very happy that the completely mad rear lights made it to the production version almost unchanged.
Spy Shots: new Honda Accord for China

The first spy shots of the new Honda Accord for China, it will be launched on the Chinese car market late next year. The Chinese Accord will be based on the ninth-generation American Honda Accord, which debuted in the US in September. Power will come from a 2.4 and 2.0 four-cylinders, the 3.5 V6 will not be sold in China.
Patent Applied: production version of the Porsche 918 Spyder leaks in China

Porsche has applied for patent on the Porsche 918 Spyder for the Chinese auto market. As usual the pictures leaked out so here we have a very first look at the final production version of the 918 Spyder. The car on the pictures differs from earlier concept cars by having door handles, mirrors, indicator lights, seat belts, a slightly different front bumper and redesigned air intakes in the front bumper.

New spy shots of the upcoming Chery T21 SUV. It will be launched on the Chinese car market next year, called ‘Cherry Tiggo 5′, the official successor of the extremely successful Chery Tiggo 3. The latter however will likely continue for at least another two years as a super-cheap budget-SUV.

Patent Applied: Fiat Panda will come to China

Fiat has applied for patent for the Chinese auto market on the Fiat Panda and Fiat Panda 4×4. This means the Panda is on its way to China, where it for its name alone kinda belongs. The Fiat Panda will be made in China by the new Guangzhou-Fiat joint venture.
Volkswagen Sagitar will get a 2.0 TSI in China

The Volkswagen Sagitar will get a 2.0 TSI engine in China, it will be launched as the ‘Sagitar GLI’ (not: GTI) on the Chinese auto market in the first quarter of next year. Volkswagen wants to move the Sagitar upmarket and the bigger engine is an important part of that strategy. The vehicle on the spy shots loox slightly more classy and luxurious than the standard Sagitar.
