The new Great Wall Kulla EV concept has debuted on the Shanghai Auto Show. The new Kulla EV is the successor of the old Kulla EV concept that debuted on the 2008 Beijing Auto Show. The new Kulla EV concept is a 1+1 city EV comparable in concept with the Renault Twizy.
Chery Beta 5 concept debuts on the Shanghai Auto Show

The Chery Beta 5 SUV concept debuted on the Shanghai Auto Show, previewing a new large Chery SUV that will be launched on the Chinese car market in 2015. The production version of the Chery Beta 5 will be positioned above the upcoming Chery Tiggo 5. The Tiggo 5 was expected to debut in Shanghai but didn’t show.

Zotye Z100 launched at the Shanghai Auto Show

The Zotye Z100 has been launched on the Shanghai Auto Show, painted in trendy green but electric it ain’t. The Zotye Z100 is a new mini-hatchback that will hit the Chinese car market later this year. Price will start around 24.000 yuan and that will make the Z100 one of the cheapest new cars on sale in China.
Another look at the Geely Emgrand KC concept on the Shanghai Auto Show

Late last Friday we had the very first pics of the early launch of the Geely Emgrand KC concept on the Shanghai Auto Show. The Geely Emgrand KC previews a new full-size sedan that will be launched on the Chinese car market in 2015 as the Geely Emgrand EC9.
Chang’an Eado XT hits the Shanghai Auto Show in white

This is the new Chang’an Eado XT hatchback, one of the best looking cars, if not the best, ever made by a Chinese automaker. The Chang’an Eado XT debuted on the Shanghai Auto Show, it will be launched on the Chinese car market in June. Price will range from about 70.000 to 110.000 yuan.

The beautiful Beijing Auto Concept 900 concept was launched on the Shanghai Auto Show, previewing a future full-size sedan. The Beijing Auto Concept 900 is an evolution of the Beijing Auto C90L concept that debuted on the 2012 Beijing Auto Show. Back in February we heard that the B90L/Concept 900 will see production in 2014, based on platform of the Mercedes-Benz E-Class that is made in China by the Beijing-Benz joint venture.
Honda Concept M MPV concept hits the Shanghai Auto Show

This is by far the baddest grille we have seen on the show this year, even outdoing all the Chinese auto makers who know a thing or two about making impressive grilles on concept cars. Chrome, lights, red paint!, the Concept M has it all.

The Honda Jade concept MPV has debuted on the Shanghai Auto Show. The Honda Jade is almost production ready and design-wise based on the Honda Concept S (scroll down) that debuted on the 2012 Beijing Auto Show. The Honda Jade is based on the platform of the third generation Honda Stream.
China-only Hyundai Mistra debuts on the Shanghai Auto Show

This is the Hyundai Mistra, Mingtu in Chinese, a new mid-size sedan for the Chinese car market. The Mistra debuted on the Shanghai Auto Show and will hit the market later this year. The Hyundai Mistra will be made in China by the Beijing-Hyundai joint venture.
New Toyota Vios debuts on the Shanghai Auto Show

The new Toyota Vios debuted on the Shanghai Auto Show, with a really big mouth and two black teeth. Strange design there up front. The new Toyota Vios will be made in China by the FAW-Toyota joint venture that also made the old Toyota Vios.
