China’s Dongfeng Motor Corporation has issued an official statement saying it never had any contact with NEVS Saab or with its shareholders concerning a possible take-over or an investment. On August 21 Economic-news magazine China Securities News published an article citing unnamed sources saying such contact had been established earlier this month.

Infiniti has released the first official pictures of the upcoming Infiniti Q50L. The Q50L is a stretched variant of the Infiniti Q50 for the Chinese auto market. The Q50 L is stretched by 48 millimeter and heightened by 6 millimeter compared to the international version. The production version of the Infiniti Q50L will be debut on the Chengdu Auto show in September and launch on the China car market in November.

More on the Mysterious Bugatti Veyron in Shanghai

Last week we published an article about a mysterious Bugatti Veyron Grand Sport Vitesse, spotted by Reader Antoine Chalendard in Shanghai on August 10. The vehicle is mysterious because it looks similar to the one-off Bugatti Grand Sport L’Or Blanc, but it isn’t a known Bugatti special-edition. So what was, and is, this interesting Veyron?

The great American website Jalopnik.com picked up on the story, saying the Veyron is ‘gathering dust’ in a garage. That is not entirely true, as our latest set of pictures clearly shows, showing the Veyron cruising on and around the Bund in Shanghai. The photos were taken on August 11.
