The Beijing Auto Shenbao D-Series was finally launched on the Chinese car market. Price starts at 139.800 yuan and ends at 215.800 yuan. On pics an early bird I met last week in a street not far from my home in Beijing. Biggest surprise: the Beijing Auto-developed 1.8 turbo is immediately available, earlier on we heard it would become available only late this year.

The Shenbao D-Series is based on the first-generation Saab 9-5, Beijing Auto bought the rights to the first generation Saab 9-3 and 9-5 in 2009 from General Motors, by then the owner of Saab. Blue Bentley Continental GT is very lucky in China

A beautiful blue Bentley Continental GT, seen in the great city of Guangzhou in Guangdong Province, which is where we are right now, by reader Benjamin G.. Thank you very much for the picture, and a beer next time? This particular Bentley must be an extremely lucky machine. ‘Eight’ is the luckiest of all lucky numbers in China, and Blue has five 8 in its license plate and another two in its parking-lot number.  That’s seven together. Well, nothing is perfect, but fortunately seven isn’t an unlucky number…

Time now for our Famous China-Bentley Continental GT Collection™, which is Growing Gigantic®. Here we go: black in the rainmatte white Mansory, white Hamann, purple pink, gold black, matte black, Bling, pink, and another matte black.
