The facelifted Roewe 350 was expected at the Shanghai Auto Show last month but did not appear. New spy shots show the facelifted car is now ready for the market, it will likely be listed in the summer.

All automakers need to show some greenieweeny and so did Roewe with two green cars that might one day see production. First up the 350 EV, based on the Roewe 350. The EV can be charged in 6 to 8 hours on 22v, with a fast charger it takes just 30 minutes for a 80% charge. Sure thing. Roewe did not disclose any other numbers, such as range or top speed.
Spy Shot: facelift Roewe 350

Roewe will bring a facelifted 350 to the Shanghai Auto Show and above the first spy shot on which nothing can be seen. But thanks to the camouflage we can say for sure that the facelift is focused on the front. There will be some minor upgrades in the interior and likely a few small changes at the back. Enginewise all remains the same, prices will more likely go down than up.
Roewe 350C EV Concept

Roewe brought a full electric 350 to an ‘electric vehicle show’ in Shenzhen. The car is called ’350C’ and has 75kw, 190nm, a battery capacity of 25kWh, a rated voltage of 320V, a range of 200km and a top speed of 150km/h. No word yet on production.
MG to get Hatchback based on Roewe 350

MG is working on a hatchback based on the new Roewe 350, the project is code named AP12 and the new car will debut at the end of 2011. Price will start around 100.000 yuan, in line with the 350. The AP12 will be MG’s second hatch after the MG6, which is based on the Roewe 550. (The poor photoshop is my work…)
SAIC published some numbers as well. Total 2009 sales for MG-Roewe: 90.017. MG sold 15.007 cars, (16.7%) and Roewe 75.010 (83.3%). MG however is catching up thanks to the MG6. In the first 3 months of 2010 total MG-Roewe sales were 37.891. MG sold 8996 (23.7%) and Roewe 28.895 (76.3%).

The new Roewe 350 is the first car in the world equipped with Google’s mobile operating system Android. Time for a good look at all its functionalities. Connection to the outside world goes trough a 3G network from operator China Unicom, the network is called Inkanet. Owners of a 350 can log-in here: http://inkanet.pateo.com.cn/.

Roewe is working on a full electric 350. The car will debut as a prototype on the Beijing auto Show later this month. The machine has a top speed of 150km/h, a range of 200 km and a 6-8 hours charging time.

A New Roewe is born and at first glance she loox healty. The 350 is a small sedan which will fit fine under the belly of the bigger 550. Engine(s): 1.5L VTi wit 78kw. That is not enough, but there is hope: rumors say Roewe will ad a turbocharged 1.5. Roewe has an 1.8T as well, I think it fits.
