New Lifan 720 debuts at the Beijing Auto Show

The new Lifan 720 sedan debuted earlier this week at the Beijing Auto Show. The 720 is Lifan’s new flagship and will hit the China car market later this year. It is not exactly a pretty car but it is big and it will be cheap, price is expected to start around 80.000 yuan.

This is the new Lifan 720, Lifan’s biggest car so far. The 720 will debut tomorrow at the Beijing Auto Show (we typed this same line some ten times today, hope you don’t get bored) and was seen waiting lonely at Lifan’s booth at the exhibition hall. Boring grey-black color doesn’t do the already not too exciting 720 very well… It should have been red! Red is good, red is China.The Lifan 720 will be listed on the China car market in early May, price is expected to start around 80.000 yuan.

The Lifan 720 debuted as a concept car at the Shanghai Auto Show. The production car loox for 99% the same and will be listed ‘within a year’. Lifan is buying some time, earlier they said the 730 would be listed beforethe end of this year. The 720 will be Lifan’s biggest car so far with a clean, orgininal but not very exiting design.

The new Lifan 720 debuted at the Shanghai Auto Show last month. It was a sort of concept without a visible interior. Some work to be done, but Lifan expects to bring the car to the Chinese market before the end of this year, priced between 80.000 and 120.000 yuan. Engines: 1.8 and possibly a 2.4. The new Lifan 720 will be listed later this year and seems a huge improvement compared with the old car, this one is actually ‘designed’. The new 720 will debut at the Shanghai Auto Show tomorrow but Lifan didn’t really hide it well. And why would they if it loox this good.
Lifan to Launch 720 and MPV next year

Lifan goes in attack mode and will launch two new cars next year. The 720 is the new flagship and will slot above the 620, 520 and 320. It will be 4.7 meter long, wheelbase about 2.7 meter. Engines: 1.6 and 1.8. Price will range from 70.000 to 100.000 yuan. The 620 costs between 56.000 and 84.000 yuan. There is at this moment no further info on the MPV, except that is is coming. Both cars will launch in the second half of 2011.
