New pictures from the JAC II SUV, it will debut on Monday at the Beijing Auto Show and JAC has done a very poor job hiding it, which wasn’t easy anyway for a car this orange. The JAC SII will be listed on the China car market soon after the show, price is expected to start at 100.000 yuan.

New pictures from the upcoming JAC SII SUV, aka JAC B-SUV, that will debut at the Beijing Auto Show later this month, it will be listed on the China car market soon after the Beijing show. The JAC SII loox very much like the outgoing Hyundai ix35 and that isn’t a coincidence because JAC makes many cars that are, legally, based on old Hyundai’s.

Here we have the first pics of the final production version of the JAC B-SUV, aka JAC SII. The JAC SII will debut next month at the Beijing Auto Show and marks the first ‘modern-style’ SUV for JAC, all its other SUV’s are basically not much more than rebadged old Hyundai’s, with one very notable exception. The SII however will still use Hyundai underpinnings and loox, well.., like a modern Hyundai does. Progress? Sure some.

A very clear shot of the JAC B-SUV, it will be listed around mid-2012. The B-SUV (internal codename) will be powered initially by a 1.8, a 1.5 turbo will follow in 2013. The B-SUV is based on the platform from the last-gen Hyundai Santa Fe. Via: QQ.
