The Shanghai-GM Cadillac SLS 2.0 SIDI has a 4-cilinder 2.0 turbocharged engine with 263hp and 360nm. It debuted at the Guangzhou Auto Show only minutes ago, priced between 388.800 and 488.800 yuan.

Cadillac appllied for patent on the CTS Coupe for the Chinese market, the sharp looking supercar will debut at the Guangzhou Auto Show starting on December 21. It comes as an import, Cadillac has no plans to make it in China. The new rich Chinese will certainly like this sort of machine as a second car to impress their friends.

The Cadillac STS 2.0T SIDI will debut at the Guangzhou Auto Show in December. The STS is made in China by GM’s joint venture with Shanghai Auto (SAIC). Engine is a 2.0 4-cilinder turbo with 263hp and 360nm. The engine comes from GM’s German subsidiary Opel.

Cadillac wants a bigger market share in China and goes cheaper to get it. The SLS will get the 2.0 turbo four-cilinder from the Buick Regal/Opel Insignia with 220hp and 350nm. Cadillac will price the 2.0 SLS just under 400.000 yuan. The current entry level SLS costs 448.000 yuan, that one comes with a 3.0 V6 with 272hp and 300nm.
