Well, a real one it ain’t. Here we have a Chevrolet Camaro from China dressed nicely as a police car, seen at a local tuning show in an ice cold Beijing. According to the stickers this Camaro is from the Sheriff in ‘Seacrest Count, State of Wyoming’, and that is cowboy country indeed.

A Bumblebee’d Ford Mustang seen at the 2011 Beijing International Top Marques Exhibition. Transformers and Bumblebee are so popular in China that GM decided to make a special Camaro Transfomers Edition for the Chinese market. The Chevrolet Camaro Transformers Edition debuted last month at the Guangzhou Auto Show. It is a China-only special edition to capitalize on the hugely popular Transformers movies. It costs 475.800 yuan or almost 75.000 US dollar. Power comes from the 3.6 V6. So far we only saw the show pics, now we have all details including many pics of the interior which has been Transformerized as well. Read more »

China loves Transformers, China loves the Bumblebee Chevrolet Camaro, China loves Bumblebee. Chevrolet so had a bright moment and came with this China-only special ‘Chevrolet Camaro Transformers Edition’, a Camaro made to look exactly like the movie car.

99% of all Chevrolet Camaro’s sold in China are specced in yellow with black stripes, to look like Bumblebee. Chevrolet took notice and came with this Chevrolet Camaro Transformers Edition. It is made to look exactly like the movie car with a huge wing on the back, blacked out wheels and Transformers-badges all over.
