The CAS 2015 is one of the biggest tuning shows in China, with a lot of wings and a lot of revs. They also have a lot of babe, pretty and not, with airbags and without. Happily, tuning shows are not as politically sensitive as new-auto shows, so almost every pretty is allowed. Starting with a sweetie in orange with mismatching fingernails.
Over the weekend we had the ‘2015 CAS Shanghai’, one of the largest annual tuning shows of China. On the stand of local tuner Match Racing Gallop (MRG) we found a purple wrapped BMW Z4 with Lambo doors flanked by a somewhat unusual Chinese car girl.
While looking for inflatable cars (yes I need some) I strictly accidentally and incidentally ended up on a muddy page with misty companies selling inflatable car beds. Some of the sellers used very creative ways to get my attention. And it worked, because sex sells, in China and anywhere else.
A local Haval dealer in the great city of Shantou in Guangdong Province had a brilliant idea: take some babe and a Haval H9 to the beach for a sleazy photoshoot with the waves and the birds. Dealers in China take their liberties when it comes to promotion, and car makers are powerless to stop them. But what about the sand..?
And for Friday afternoon we have a flock of pretty Chinese Car Girls opening a car wash in the great city of Urumqi, capital of Xinjiang Province. The girls are tall, well-built, and handy with the water gun. They wear shiny trousers of the swimsuit kind and a short top with the text ‘Coke is…’. Coke is what?!
Today we have a bunch of very pretty Chinese racing babes, seen on the Zhuhai International Circuit in the great city of Zhuhai in Shandong Province, for a round of the China Touring Car Championship (CTCC). It was a very rainy day down south but the babes did not get wet, hiding as they did under giant umbrellas.
A big herd of Chinese Car Girls holding Pink leaflets, seen on a cloudy day on the Broad Auto Park in the great city of Shanghai. The little ladies were competing in a beauty contest. Sadly we do not know who won, but it doesn’t matter much, as they all look exactly the same.
The rumors are true: there will be no babes at the 2015 Shanghai Auto Show, scheduled to start on April 20. No babes at all. Nothing. The sad news was confirmed on Wednesday by the state-owned ChinaDaily newspaper, citing an “announcement” by the show’s organizers sent to all exhibitors.
Oh no another conservative-morality backlash in China! The 2015 Shanghai Auto Show will probably do without babe, just when we were getting optimistic again about the girls on autoshows in China. Says Reuters:
The Chinese government is concerned about what it sees as increasing vulgarity in society. Victor Yang, spokesman of Geely Automobile Holdings Ltd, told Reuters on Friday that the company has received verbal notice from the Shanghai autoshow organizer that no models can be used at the week-long event, from April 20.
We continue our coverage of the Supercar Day at the Goldenport Circuit in Beijing, China. The event happened in early December when temperatures can reach minus 09 Celsius, but this year is extraordinary warm with a very soft exactly zero at midnight in Beijing today (we are in Guangzhou now, 15 degrees at 23:57) . Still, it seems very clear the girls are kinda cold.
