Furthermore; the Ferrari was driven by a laowai (foreigner) with a laowai-chick on the passenger’s seat. A rather special situation, but it gets even better…

An almost perfect Cadillac Fleetwood in brown with a bit of black, seen in the great city of Shanghai by reader Chiprdan, thank you for the pictures! New tires do the old Caddy a surprisingly lotta sporty good. Not quite race car, but fast for a Caddy. Complicated-to-make-and-to-clean alloys are period, and they need a good clean-up to shine again.
Buick Regal is matte orange in China

Here we have a very speedy, an certainly very flashy too, Buick Regal sedan in matte orange, seen in the great city of Shanghai by reader Chiprdan, thank you for the pictures! The matte orange wrap seems to be of high quality and neatly covers the bumpers. The mirrors, roof and alloys are made black for contrast. Best parts are the chrome grille and window strips, giving this orange automobile a strangely luxurious touch.

A truck full of Ferrari supercars, seen on a highway near Shanghai by reader Chiprdan, thank you for the brilliant pictures! The truck carried three Ferrari F12berlinetta and two Ferrari 458 Italia. According to Chiprdan the vehicles were unloaded at a government vehicle testing center where imported cars have to pass an emessions test before they can legally hit the road.

The China-made Cadillac XTS will debut on the April 2013 Shanghai Auto Show, it will be launched on the Chinese car market in the first half of next year.

Volkswagen Passat R36 Wagon is matte black in China

A fantastic matte black Volkswagen Passat R36 Wagon, sees by reader Chiprdan somewhere around Shanghai, thank you for the pic! Wrap continues over the mirrors and bumpers but the grille is tastefully kept in chrome for contrast. Volkswagen started importing the Passat R36 Wagon back in 2010 and much to everyone’s surprise, including Volkswagen’s, it became is great success, proving that Chinese car buyers do like wagons, as long as they are powerful, exclusive and expensive. Price of the R36 starts at a steep 492.000 yuan and ends at 528.000 yuan. The Volkswagen Passat R36 is powered by a 3.6 liter V6, good for 300 wild horses.
