Citroen C4L 1.8 will debut on the Shanghai Auto Show

The Citroen C4L sedan was launched on the Chinese car market in December last year, priced between at 123.900 and 169.900 yuan. It is currently only available with a 117hp 1.6 and a 163hp 1.6 turbo.
That however will change on the Shanghai Auto Show when Citroen will launch a 136hp 1.8, mated to a 5-speed manual or six-speed automatic. The new engine will be positioned between the 1.6 and 1.6 turbo, price will start around 150.000 yuan. Via: Autohome.

The Citroen C4L debuted last week at the Paris Auto Show but Europe won’t see much of it. The C4L is a medium sized sedan designed for developing markets such as China, Russia and South America. Production in China by the Dongfeng-PSA joint venture has already started, the C4L will be launched on the Chinese car market late this year, it will debut in China on the Guangzhou Auto Show in November.
