The very first spy shots of yet another SUV from Chery. This is the Chery Cowin SUV, basically the same car as the Chery Riich X3 SUV that is still testing around as well. Both machines are slightly different up front and at the back.

New spy shots from the new Chery Cowin 2 that will hit the China car market late this year, debut is expected at the Guangzhou Auto Show in December. The new Cowin 2 is the successor of the current Cowin 2, based on the ancient Seat Toledo, which has been in production under various names since 1999 and is still a best-seller for the Cowin brand.

New spy shots from the Chery Cowin E3, a new small sedan from Chery that will hit the China car market next year. The Cowin E3 is based on the same platform as the Chery A2. Power will come from a 1.5 mated to a 5-speed manual transmission or a CVT.

The new Chery Cowin 5 has been officially listed on the China car market, price starts at 75.800 yuan and ends at 101.800 yuan. Power comes from a 1.8 with 132hp and 170nm, mated to a 5-speed manual or a CVT.

The new Chery Cowin 5 will be listed on the Chinese auto market on March 24. The Cowin 5 debuted at the Shanghai Auto Show in April last year and is now ready to roll. Price will start around 80.000 yuan and end around 110.000 yuan.

The first official pics of the upcoming facelifted Chery Cowin 1. Spy shots appeared in November last year and the new car was expected to debut at the Guangzhou Auto Show in December but didn’t show, debut is now scheduled for the Beijing Auto Show in April.

The Chery Cowin 2 has been continuously in production since 1999. the Chery Cowin 2 (aka Qiyun (Flagcloud), fka ‘Cowin’, fka Fengyun (Windcloud)) is based on the ancient Seat Toledo (VW Group A2).
No cloning or copying here, Chery bought the production line when production of the Toledo ended in Spain in 1998, shipped everything to China and restarted production in Anhui Province. The Cowin 2 has since then been a modest but reliable money maker for Chery. But everything ends and after almost 15 years it is time indeed for a new car.

The Chery Cowin 5 debuted as an ‘almost-ready-concept’ as the Shanghai Auto Show in April. Still, it takes Chery a lot of time to bring it to the market, as usual. Latest is that the Cowin 5 will be listed early next year, likely after the April 2012 Beijing Auto Show.

The facelifted QQ1 will get a redesigned front, new mirrors, some changes at the back and an updated interior.
